Establish

International Sport Karate &Kickboxing Association，ISKA for short, was founded in 1986. It is a worldwide sports organization on promoting kickboxing, karate sports. Its predecessor is the PKA (Professional Karate Association)-professional karate association, founded in 1974. ISKA is the world's recognized kickboxing and karate supervision and management organization. Through the ESPN broadcast network, ISKA has a wide mass base and popularity in the world. ISKA has also developed the world's first athlete ranking system based on fight points.

Member States

By March 2020, ISKA totally has 46 member countries globally, Including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, China, Japan, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, Brazil. Eight countries are in Asia, 17 countries are in Europe, three countries are in Africa, and 17 countries are in the Americas as well as 1 in Oceania. ISKA mainly engaged in fighters $ referees certificating, referee supervision, rules revision, event operations, sports events consultation, athletes ranking & brokerage and so on.

Mission

Since 1983, ISKA has been one of the major international bodies regulating sport karate and kickboxing matches, and has sanctioned a lot of recognized champions and world-class challengers in more than 20 different types of combat rules. ISKA provide match supervision and adjudication for a number of top events in the world, including K-1, GLORY and BELLATOR.

ISKA China

ISKA China was set up in March 2018 and held a press conference in the the National Aquatics Center, Beijing, China in November of the same year. It is ISKA's only professional operation and management organization in China. Sun Chaofeng (China) is the president of ISKA China Committee. ISKA is made up of the ISKA China Event Management Committee, the ISKA China Referee Committee and the China Industry Center:

The Event Management Committee manages and operates the ISKA Companionship league in  China;

The Referee Committee is responsible for the supervision and adjudication of domestic and foreign events, as well as the training and qualifying of referees and coaches;

China Industrial Center covers athletes clothing customization, sports monitoring and nutrition development, athletes rehabilitation and club management.

Sailing Away

In May 2019, who had been the world's No .1 featherweight kickboxing athlete, WLF world champion and GOH world champion, won the ISKA welterweight Intercontinental Champion in Shantou city, Guangdong Proivnce. He is the first Chinese to be awarded with this honor. For the job of searching, training and promoting Chinese even Asia kickboxing athletes, it is just the beginning.
